Keywords:
Corporate social responsibility, Accession, CSRAbstract
The study seeks to verify the perception of CSR adherence in companies in the Northwest region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The dimensions of analysis were based on studies by Ackerman (1973) and Ethos (2007). The method adopted was quantitative and descriptive with data collection through a survey in a sample of 32 large organizations. The data analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability and correlation of dimensions and variables. The results show that organizations have adopted attitudes of adopting Corporate Social Responsibility practices, however in many aspects they do not adopt practices effectively and continuously. It appears that the lack of knowledge of the breadth of the actions that make up CSR is the main factor that makes the interviewed organizations not adopt CSR-oriented practices. The managerial thinking that all actions will have a notorious cost for the organization ends up preventing the evolution of the adoption of CSR practices.
