Abstract

This study aims to analyze the applicability of the 2030 Agenda of the  United  Nations (UN)  in  the  State  of  Rio  Grande  do  Sul. Specifically, it is intended to present historical data on slavery in the State; contextualizing the  UN  Agenda  2030  undermines  its eighth objective; investigate  the  actions  taken  by  the  State  to  implement   the  Agenda  in  the  search  for  decent  work.  The methodology used for this study consists of the qualitative deductive method. The research technique used is bibliographic.  It  is concluded that in the State of Rio Grande do Sul there is much to be done so that Agenda 2030 can bring positive results.
