LABOR AND INCOME OF THE SOLIDARITY ECONOMY WITHIN THE IDEA OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

New technology-mediated work and production experiences, whether or not, need to be on the agenda of development projects that want to be inclusive. The social issue and the cultural issue have already been well discussed in previous decades, but the new times of digitized life have created other fundamental strategies in the perspective of a humanely sustainable economy. This means that the work and income experiences of popular groups, cooperative or individual, formal or formal, are part of the efforts of a large portion of the population to ensure experiences and coexistence. The alternatives are more than economic and are devise not and new models of producing and distributing, but in diversity of defense of human dignity. This text examines the role of solidarity economy in sustainable development, highlighting the understanding of the uniqueness of such practices in the face of local development of economic activities, with different dimensions of people's lives in the territory, such as social, political, cultural and environmental. From a methodological approach of economic sociology, we will argue with bibliographic research on the specific reflexes of the articulation of local development and on the horizon of intervention plans in territories with a high presence of vulnerability, but with good experiences of solidarity economy to think the foundations of a future with development.
