EFFECTS OF DEMOGRAPHIC DYNAMICS ON THE FORMAL LABOR MARKET
THE CASE OF PANAMBI/RS

In recent years, the Brazilian demographic dynamics has presented several significant changes, as a result, the country tends to adopt a new demographic profile. In this background, this research shows a study with primary aim of characterizing the town of Panambi, located in the northwest region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, reference to the indicators of Municipal Demographic Dynamics and Municipal Formal Labor, and from this what influences may arise for development. It was chosen to carry it out in a descriptive form, based on data obtained from the IBGE, from the years 1970 to 2010, and in DEEDADOS for the year 2020, thus, the study is both qualitative and quantitative in nature. The results indicate that the town tends to have an aging population, according to the projections. It can be seen that formal employment in industry is relevant for all age groups, but more so for young people. The economic and political changes that occur in the country can shake the amount of formal jobs differently, and this impact has strongly affected young people.
